Position Classification: Content Manager

Location: Remote

A content manager with specification for the website is responsible for the development, upkeep and publishing of the website, ensuring that the content of the website remains updated and the website remains in compliance with appropriate regional laws and legislations. The content manager is also responsible with monitoring traffic of the website and monitors visitor behaviour for feedback and improvement into the website. The content manager will not be responsible for upkeeping the Internal Management Platform.

About Bedside Buddies

Bedside Buddies is a Thailand-based non-profit dedicated to health education in school-aged children and improving the quality of life of paediatric patients in hospitals across the country. The organisation works alongside hospitals to provide enriching activities for patients such as handmade cards, dress-up visits, gaming consoles and much more with the goal to deliver joy in their scariest moments.

The organisation is founded by high school students, however seeks to expand beyond the scope of a high school non-profit, with long-term goals to make consistent, widespread impact towards children across the country.

Candidate Profile
  1. Displays competency in the reading and writing of English to enable required duties to be performed safely and to acceptable levels.

  2. Ability to work within a team environment with little or no supervision.

  3. Displays a willingness & flexible approach to work requirements and change in work practices.

  4. Possesses practical experience or strong familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) and web publishing tools to ensure seamless development and upkeep - those with experience with Hostinger is preferred.

  5. Maintains a strong attention to detail, specifically regarding digital compliance, data privacy, and regional web legislations to ensure the site remains legally sound.

  6. Exhibits excellent time-management and organizational skills to maintain deadlines as appropriate.

  7. Shows a genuine passion for the Bedside Buddies mission, with a community-focused mindset and a strong desire to support health education and improve the quality of life for paediatric patients.
